Cassandra Thomson

Cassandra (Casey) Thomson is an Assistant Attorney General in the Children’s Justice Unit at the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office. Prior to joining the AGO, Casey clerked for two years for Judge Judith E. Levy in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.

She previously worked as a Research Attorney for the Michigan Court of Appeals and as a Legal Intern at the Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law and Greater Boston Legal Services in their Elder, Health and Disability Unit.

She received her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and an A.B. in Social Studies from Harvard University. Prior to law school, Casey worked in health services research at Boston Children’s Hospital.
